J was Baptised today. It was wonderful, we'd dreamed about this day for so long and it was even better than we imagined. To have all our family and friends in one place was pretty special, and to have everyone at Church where we spend so much of our lives was great. Jamie wore the family gown, worn by his niece and nephew too. He had a white and satin little tux to wear after...he was so cute. The jacket didn't last long however, it was too hot! Which is also why mommy couldn't straighten her hair...too hot too humid. When Father Mike poured the water on him, he actually smiled--he liked it! We all had brunch at El Torrito's after, and I gave everyone the favors I made: remembrance cards with his name, date, godparents and a picture of him on the back. Then I hand made chaplet rosaries as well. Most of the pictures were blurry so I'll post more when I get them from others :)

First Fireworks!
Baby J's first Fourth of July was great. We had a BBQ at His "auntie" Jhona's house and played Rock Band. He loved watching the TV...it's fun to see him so interested in music already, as well as the shapes and colors..but sheesh tv at 4 months??? Well I suppose if you choose the content it's okay, and watch video's or tivo stuff so you don't have to watch commercials. Anyway I digress from celebrating America, we went to USD to watch Fireworks and you could see at least 6 of them, it was great. The only time babyJ got scared was when everyone yelled at a big cool one and we thnk it's because Daddy yelled too. Also the fact that he was super tired might of had something to do with that. But he slept from 12- 6 last night heh. Good Boy :) I should mention that we left our camera at Aunt Kim's so...yeah, and we forgot to take phone pics.Tuesday, July 1, 2008
This is how I lean
Today was the first day at my new job at church. J did very well, he charmed everyone in the office, including father Micheal and then he played in the stroller. We were able to come home for lunch and to take a nap and then we will go back later at 5. The flexible hours thing is going to come in very handy. This picture I have entitled" Lean like a Cholo" ha!
